Hi, my name is Cylie. I am a 15-year-old girl who is very passionate about my education and my future. I am excited to say that I have been accepted to Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School this school year. This school will guide me on my path to success and support my goal of pursuing a career in either pre-med or engineering.

Unfortunately, this past year has been difficult for my family due to my mother's battle with cancer. She has spent the year away from work, navigating treatment and still being there for all of my siblings and I, caring for us and making sure we are doing our best in our schoolwork, dance, and athletics. Throughout this journey, I am tremendously thankful that God has been with her and with us; however, it has been challenging to navigate the financial burden that comes with her in treatment and also raising my siblings and me. With everything going on, she simply can’t afford the tuition on her own.

Georgetown Visitation has awarded me a scholarship, but a substantial balance remains. After discussing this with my mom, we have decided to create a GoFundMe to help ensure that this upcoming year runs as smoothly as possible. We are grateful for any support, and every contribution is truly appreciated.
