To Clif, With Love

Clifton ‘Clif’ Meadows! The one! The only! You know he would never ever approve of this, right? Clif is intensely private but is always concerned about how everyone is doing and that you all have what you need. He’s that guy who always shows up every day ready to ‘just do his job’. I know you’ve heard that before. Every evening after work, he would already be thinking about whom he needed to help the next day. By the way, I know most of you by your full name.

Anyway, he’s got another job right now enduring multiple diagnoses, procedures, and setbacks since May of this year until the present. While we believed his diabetes was under control, it was not. It has basically attacked his body. This has been a long and arduous journey of hospitals, rehab, home health care, and follow-up physician appointments, and we still have a long way to go in his recovery, but we are fighting with everything that we have. Despite all of it, we are so very blessed. Blessed to have an amazing network of family, friends, and colleagues who love and care about Clif and want to help support us in any way possible. It’s been tough physically, mentally, and emotionally for us both, but we are steady in the storm.
