I am raising funds for Clay Fuller. He started feeling sick about 6 months ago and started losing weight at that time. He has lost a total of 50-60 pounds. If you know Clay, you know he is stubborn and waited to get checked out. He went to the Emergency Room in January and got a CT scan that showed a mass. He was referred to surgical services for an EGD but had to wait for cardiac clearance, which took another month. On February 28, he finally got his EGD. At that time, he got the news that no one wants to hear—Esophageal Cancer. He has more testing coming up next week to find out more information as to what stage and what the treatment plan may be. This is a scary time for Clay, and with additional testing comes additional bills. This is all even before the bills from the treatments. The test he is having at St. Joes on Monday is $2500 out of pocket for him. This is going to be another EGD with a sonogram. This test will give them better biopsies, better photos, and hopefully a better treatment plan.
If you have ever met Clay, you know that he is the first person to offer to help someone else out in their time of need. He has never asked anyone else for help. This is our time to help him out.
