Join Christina's Healing Support Team

In February 2025, at 42 years old and just four months after giving birth to our beautiful son Isaac (Izzy), Christina was diagnosed with stage II triple-negative breast cancer. Although this type of breast cancer is the hardest to treat, Christina's medical team is optimistic about her odds, but she is facing a long and difficult road over the next 12-18 months. She will have to undergo an aggressive treatment regimen of several months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, and reconstructive surgery. Christina will be unable to work while undergoing treatment, so she will need to take an extended leave of absence from her job and will have to take significant pay cuts as a result. As a freelancer, Dan does not have any paid leave benefits and will be limited in what projects he can take on while our family navigates this incredibly difficult time.

Any amount you are able to contribute would help us to cope with this loss of income and to help cover the costs of medical bills, backup childcare and dogsitting, and other unexpected costs related to Christina's treatment that are not otherwise covered by insurance.
