Update on Christopher: January 5, 2025

Christopher took a bad Fall last Thursday, he has a Fractured Femur…. He fell getting out of his wheelchair while his Mom was trying to get him in bed…

We called 911 and he was sent to Lafayette General Hospital… They did X-rays in the ER, said he had No Fractures, just Bruising so they sent him Home with Tylenol….

After 4 days of him Laying in bed having excruciating pain, we decided to Call 911 again and had him sent to Lourdes Hospital…. Lourdes did X-rays And a CT… (Lafayette General didn’t do a CT), Lourdes did all of the right things and he has been discharged to a Rehabilitation Hospital, still in pain but but doing better…. It’s still going to be a long journey…. Please find a way to donate if you can….. God Bless….

Moral of the story is, “Never Trust Anyone with they’re First Opinions” Always get a 2nd and even a 3rd Opinion….

Hello my name is Chris Crawford, my Fiancé is Catherine “Cissy” McCrary.

Her Son Christopher that Lives with Us, is 41 years old now. He suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2009 in an Industrial Accident and recovered pretty well over the years, had a lot of Therapy and ended up with mainly just Short Term Memory Loss. He was Driving and Working Part Time and able to Feed and Clothe himself.

On September 22, of this year, Christopher had Multiple Seizures and 2 Strokes. He was in the hospital for over 90 Days and finally came home last Thursday. His Medical Bills are over $1 Million Dollars. He does have Insurance but there are still a lot of Expenses that are being in need of Help to pay. (Car Notes, Rent, Car Insurance, Phone Bill, Food, Medical Supplies etc)

Unfortunately, Christopher has Several Deficiencies, Increased Memory Loss, Almost No Movement of his Right Hand, Arm and Leg. He has started PT, OT and Speech Therapy.
