On the evening of Friday, March 29th Chelsea and Ivy were in a snowmobile accident. As a result, Chelsea suffered serious injuries. Chelsea was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She had a large laceration to her head, a fractured sternum, a pneumothorax, five fractured vertebrae in her neck and back, and many bumps and bruises. Ivy was rushed by ambulance to Regions that evening as well, and was cleared late that night with a mild concussion.

Despite Chelsea's extensive list of injuries she was discharged late in the day on March 31st. Thursday, April 2nd Chelsea was rushed back to Regions Hospital by ambulance. Chelsea had begun to experience stroke like symptoms. After arriving at Regions an MRI was done and revealed she had a carotid artery dissection. The MRI also revealed she had a pre-existing condition of fibromuscular dysplasia.

While Chelsea is back at home, she has a long road to recovery.
