Rebuild Jamaica: A Call to Help the Heart of the Caribbean
Hi everyone, my name is Chavoy , and I’m reaching out with deep emotion and love for my homeland — Jamaica.
Recently, Hurricane Melissa tore through our island, leaving behind destruction that words can hardly capture. Homes have been lost, communities flooded, and livelihoods shaken. Yet through it all, one thing remains unbroken — the spirit of the Jamaican people.
Jamaica is so much more than a small island in the Caribbean. It is a place that has inspired the world — through our music, culture, resilience, and warmth. From the rhythm of reggae that moves hearts across continents, to the Olympic champions who remind the world what strength looks like, Jamaica has always given more than its size would suggest.
Now, this beautiful island that has brought so much joy and light to the world needs our help. The people — our people — are warm, proud, and hopeful, but they cannot recover alone.
This campaign is not just about money — it’s about humanity. It’s about giving what you can:
Monetary support to rebuild homes and restore hope
Donations of essentials like food, hygiene items, and medical supplies
Volunteering or spreading the word to reach those who can help
My family is from Jamaica, and I’ve seen firsthand both the hardship and the unshakable courage of the people I love. I’ll be contributing in every way I can — through funds, advocacy, and hands-on support — to make sure these efforts reach those who need them most.
Please, join me in helping rebuild Jamaica — not just the buildings, but the hearts, dreams, and futures of its people. Together, we can honor the soul of a nation that has given the world so much beauty, music, and love.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Chavoy Kellogg
