A Room of Her Own: Help Charlie’s Wish Come True

We’re reintroducing our GoFundMe campaign as Charlie nears the end of a long and difficult 2+ years battling Stage 1 Wilms Tumour & relapse. Originally, her relapse treatment was expected to last eight months, but it has stretched to nearly 14 months due to numerous hospital admissions and setbacks in her recovery. Charlie’s journey has been anything but easy, marked by countless needles, surgeries, medications, life-saving but intensive harsh treatments, and rounds of radiation.

Through the Starlight Foundation, Charlie was granted a Wish, initially dreaming of a 5-night Disney Cruise. Unfortunately, when her cancer returned, that wish had to be cancelled. Now, two plus years later, after bravely fighting cancer once again, Charlie has chosen a new wish: her very own Bedroom Makeover. This wish is incredibly fitting for her - a tween who has shown resilience beyond her years.

Charlie’s dream is to create a beautiful, healing space she can call her own, a sanctuary filled with love, joy, and wellness where she can recover, recharge, and make cherished memories with her closest friends.

We need your help to make her wish come true. Starlight has provided for certain essentials, but their budget can only stretch so far. With an extended treatment period and depleted financial resources, we’re reaching out for support and inviting you to join "Charlie’s Support Squad." Can you help Charlie with this challenge?
