Join Chad in Spreading Light in Ethiopia

Hey friends,

After much prayer and time in God’s Word, I finally received confirmation on one of the biggest prayers I’ve ever lifted up—I’m officially stepping out in faith and heading to Ethiopia this September on a missions trip!

I’ll be joining Pastor Dr. Yonas Badi, a good friend and native of Ethiopia. We first connected when he filled in at a Bible study one night, and since then, God has continued to align our paths—most recently at a men’s retreat at Prayer Mountain with Triad Church. Before he left, he mentioned a trip to Ethiopia, and something in my spirit instantly leapt!

Over the years, I’ve received countless prophetic words and prayers about stepping into missions, and I truly believe this is the moment God has been preparing me for. This past weekend at The Encounter Charlotte, that confirmation was made clear. Even more amazing—Ethiopia celebrates their New Year on September 11th, which is also my birthday! I don’t believe that’s a coincidence—this trip has God’s fingerprints all over it.

I’m reaching out in faith to ask for your support, both in prayer and financially. The total cost for the trip is $3,500. A portion will cover my travel, lodging, and food, but the majority will directly bless the people of Ethiopia.

While there, we’ll be:

Ministering to children and hoping to bring a second suitcase full of toys and clothes,

Feeding and ministering to the homeless,

Participating in a two-day crusade,

Helping plant a church,

And celebrating the very first graduating class of a local Bible college.

This is a huge opportunity, and I believe God will use my testimony in powerful ways while I’m there. If you feel led to give, any amount—$5, $10, $20, $100 or more—will go a long way in making this mission possible and blessing those we’ll serve.
