Hello dear ones,

I’m Jennie—and I’m writing from a place of quiet strength and open-hearted peace as Chad, my beloved, begins a tender healing journey with **esophageal cancer**.

On March 24, 2025, we were gently redirected onto a new path. A 3-inch growth (which we’ve named *Fred*) was discovered at the base of Chad’s esophagus. Since then, we’ve been guided into a flow of appointments, scans, and new rhythms of care.

We are choosing to meet this moment with stillness, trust, and breath.

Our mantras have become:

*We are not alone.*

*One day at a time.*

*Love leads the way.*

We begin our mornings with quiet music, grounding meditation, and sometimes spontaneous ecstatic dance parties. Laughter, tears, milkshakes, and moments of 'AWE' are now part of our daily medicine.

We’re creating this GoFundMe not from fear, but from a space of gentle receiving.

With treatments ahead and changes to our household income, we’re opening this space for support—to help with medical care, nutrition, time away from work, and the essentials that allow Chad to rest, heal, and stay nourished in body and spirit.
