In August 2024, while on vacation visiting friends in upstate New York, Cathy McLaughlin experienced a tragic accident that changed her life. Since then, Cathy has endured multiple surgeries, hospital transfers, and a long, challenging road to recovery.

Cathy remains hospitalized in New York, where she continues to receive critical care. In the coming weeks, she is scheduled for yet another surgery. We are hopeful that after this procedure, she can begin her next step: transitioning to a rehabilitation facility to relearn essential activities of daily living.

Through it all, Cathy has shown incredible strength, fighting every day for her loving husband, daughter, and grandchildren. Her determination inspires us all, but the financial burden of her ongoing medical care is immense.

It’s been a strenuous and long 5 months and the road to recovery will be long. We are reaching out to ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Cathy’s medical expenses and help ease the stress on her family during this difficult time.
