We are raising funds for medical expenses for Carla Wiederhold.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Carla had an ultrasound of her abdomen as she'd been experiencing pain, nausea, lack of appetite, bloating, and other gastrointestinal issues. Results came back within the hour stating: innumerable hypoechoic lesions throughout the hepatic parenchyma. These are highly suspicious for metastatic disease in this patient with a history of prior breast cancer. The cancer is in her liver, bone, and lungs. She has undergone several rounds of chemo and has had some troubles most recently in the hospital with very low potassium. The doctors from Mayo and MN Oncology are working together and have ordered more scans and testing.

Insurance has been an issue and some tests/scans are being denied causing more and more bills for the Wiederhold family. We want to help Carla and her family with some medical expenses so she can focus on her treatments and not stress about the money issues.
