I started feeding a lovely stray cat that used to visit me every day. In the past few days, the animal started showing signs of being extremely sick and frail to the point he is barely standing up on his own and even breathing. God knows how difficult it was for me to see an animal going through such suffering and pain, and after trapping him, I took the cat to the animal emergency clinic of Deerfield Beach Saturday night on 01/04/2025.

In my 42 years of life, I've never asked for a single penny from anyone, including online, but I had to sign an agreement and pay $1,875.00; otherwise, he wouldn't even be seen by the vet and its team. This amount only covers the diagnostic and does not include any treatment, medication, or vaccines.

I'm in tears writing this, but without any help, I don't think I will be able to assist Joaquim (that's the name my family has chosen for him) any further. I'm crying as I write this, but I'm desperate for any help I can get.
