Hi Everyone,

My name is Bria, and I am on a journey to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a midwife. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about supporting and educating families in my community through the life-changing experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Now, I’m taking the next step to deepen my impact by becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the Midwifery College of Utah.

When I started this journey, I was confident I could manage school expenses on my own. However, as the program progresses, I’ve realized that reaching this goal will take more than just my dedication—it will take the support of my community.

So far, I’ve covered my first two trimesters with student loans and personal funds, but after the spring trimester, I will no longer qualify for financial aid due to my previous undergraduate career. While I’m committed to making this work, the reality is that continuing to fund my education entirely on my own may mean delaying my dream.

Here’s a breakdown of the investment required to complete my program:
