Hi, my name is Brian, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a lot of hope.
Seven years ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Since then, life has been a rollercoaster of treatments, surgeries, and learning how to live while fighting. About 20 months ago, the cancer spread to my brain and bones, and I underwent a craniotomy to remove a tumor from my brain. The pathology confirmed it was metastatic prostate cancer. Since then, I’ve been on daily chemo, doing everything I can to stay strong and keep moving forward.
Just six weeks ago, my MRI showed everything was stable…no new growth. But in a follow-up MRI just last week, they found a new mass. The mass has grown quickly, and I’ll be going in for another brain surgery (craniotomy) this Wednesday.
I’ll be out of work for at least 6 months while I recover. I have a family to support, regular bills that don’t stop, and no insurance. We pay out of pocket for many of our medical appointments and treatments, and it’s becoming more than we can carry alone.
I’m asking for help, anything you’re able to give would mean the world to us. Whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this page, I’m grateful for every ounce of support.
Thank you for walking with me through this.
With love,
Brian
