Our great friend, Brian, suffered an Aortic Dissection on April 14 of this year. This was a result of months of doctor's visits to figure out what he was suffering with since the beginning of the year.
Brian's illness started as a diagnosis of bronchitis in January, which worsened over 3 months, culminating in the final outcome.
Brian was hospitalized from 4/14 through 5/25. He has undergone 5 open heart surgeries, 17 transfusions, dialysis, and an aortic and heart valve replacement. He is home now, recovering, but with a weight loss of 50lbs and over a month on life support, the recovery is expected to last at least a year with a high probability of more procedures.
As you can imagine, this is a disabling injury and any support is appreciated.
Please keep him in your prayers as he fights this courageous battle.
