UPDATE-
Fergie will go back to the vet on the 19th.. so far it’s cost about $2,000.00. We are not out of the clear yet.. The food he needs to be put on is so expensive.. and the vet recommends to get a water fountain and get different litter. I do have 3 other cats also. I am so very grateful for everyone who has donated. Times are tough and I’m glad you can help me.. once again thank you so much for everything. I was also told it’s more common in neutered male cats to get a urinary blockage..
Fergie did have a urinary blockage. He didn’t get surgery, but he got flushed out until his pee got back to normal color. He currently has a catheter in and is on a special diet. He does go back to the vet on Friday to get the catheter taken out and to see if he still has any. He could get blocked up again but I am praying he doesn’t..
Hi, I’m Brianna and this is Fergie. Fergie here is about a year old and he seems to be having a urinary blockage. He can’t seem to pee and when he does, it is very little. The first time this happened, there was blood in his pee.
I’ve spoken to several animal hospitals and vets and they told me it would cost 3,000-5,000.00 depending on what all needs to be done. He will more than likely have to go under for surgery, but to even see him, they want 500.00 down first. I can’t lose him. I lost my baby Blaze earlier this year and I can’t do it again.
Please, anyone, if you can help, that would be great.
