My name is Breanna. I have been dealing with heart & liver failure since I was 17, right after my mom passed from stomach cancer. I started having symptom's similar to hers like fluid in the abdomen. So we rushed to the hospital concerned. I’ve been numerous times to the hospital and they always brushed it off as grief or diet. It was unfortunate, I wanted an answer. It got worse over time. I found out month's later that I had cirrhosis of the liver, no reason why or what to do about it. Fluid built up in my abdomen and I was having trouble breathing. Finally I got admitted in 2023 for the fluid & that’s when I found out I had heart failure as well that had caused the liver failure. I had went all this time without knowing. Now I am 20, in need of a heart transplant.
