Hello! My name is Brandy and I’m not here under the best of circumstances. June marked a year since my last radiation treatment for thyroid cancer. We hoped for a remission announcement but during my one year check-up, abnormal levels were detected and followed up on. I received the news that cancer was found in my right lymph node and abnormal cells were found in the left. Scans to determine the extent and what type of treatment is needed is taking place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of July. This will require a special diet, lots of travel and is taking place out of town. Any help towards the extra expenses is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help, prayers, well wishes and thoughts during this time. This is only the first step of many, but I have faith I’ll beat this. Love you all.
