Yoshi is a sweet and spirited 6-year-old Chihuahua-Corgi mix whose personality is as big as his ears. With his short legs, soulful eyes, and a tail that never stops wagging, Yoshi has brought immeasurable joy to everyone lucky enough to know him.

Recently, Yoshi was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) — a painful and sometimes debilitating condition that affects the spine. It’s been a challenging time for this little warrior, as he navigates limited mobility and discomfort with quiet strength and a resilient heart.

Due to the nature of his diagnosis, Yoshi is not eligible for pet insurance coverage, and the costs of his care — including a MRI, medications, physical therapy, and possibly surgery — are entirely out-of-pocket. Despite everything, Yoshi’s spirit remains unbroken. He still tries to greet each day with a wag, a lick, and that same gentle determination that has always defined him.

Yoshi doesn’t understand why his body won’t always cooperate, but he trusts the love around him. Every small step he takes is a testament to his courage, and every cuddle is a reminder that he’s still full of life, love, and hope.
