Hey y’all! This Jesus loving, wife loving, family first-ing, dog loving, shoulda been a pro bowler, biggest Braves fan, best kinda friend, selfless, most servant heart having, secret hand shaker, sweetest and most loyal kinda guy is my precious Uncle Danny!
To know Danny Bithell, is to know love. The word says: “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” ~1 John 4:16.
To me, there’s not a better life verse to describe Uncle Danny!
If you’ve had the pleasure of knowing Danny, you know he doesn’t shy away from serving others, and always lends a helping hand, both to friend and stranger. He defines both selfless and humility, which is why my family and I know he would never even think to ask for help as he prepares for the greatest battle of his life.
This past week has been the toughest of weeks, as Uncle Danny received reports desired by no one. To sum up the reports thus far I am sharing an update from his wife, Robin:
“Update on Dannys test results on what they thought was a mass , is actually a lymph node hanging from his liver, is positive for cancer as well as the tumor in his esophagus. It’s stage four. Surgery is not an option because they don’t know if he has more somewhere else yet and will be running more tests and scans next week. Chemotherapy is the only option. We’re going to an oncologist at Fayetteville piedmont next Friday morning. Thank y’all for your prayers on this journey so far, and in advance for the prayers we know you will be saying for what is ahead of us! God is good and he always has the last word, so we’re going to fight this with his help! We believe in miracles and are standing on his promises! We love y’all ♥️”
As y’all can imagine, this is a lot to process. In the weeks ahead they will learn more and more about what Danny’s treatment plan looks like. On top of processing all this, there’s the added pressure of trying to figure out how to merge this with life. Danny has been an independent business owner, servicing beautiful lawn care around his community for the last 20+yrs. We all know too well, as an independent business owner there’s nothing to try to pull from, sick leave, or benefits... This area along with prayer is where we can help out y’all!!! A little goes a long way when it comes from a multitude!
So what can we do?? Give and share this page!! Robin spoke on the fact that they can’t go ANYWHERE without running into someone who knows and loves Danny! That’s just who he is!
What else can we do to be BRAVEs in battle for Danny? PRAY!!! Uncle Danny knows this is how we fight our battles!! Danny stands on the truth of God’s living word, and here we join him in prayer and worship in Jesus mighty name!
"Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them." ~ Psalm 107:19-20
"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise."~ Jeremiah 17:14
"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." ~ James 5:14-15
Thank you so very much for the blessings that we know are coming for Danny and Robin, and for interceding on Danny’s behalf. ❤️
