Join Bethany in Ebony's Battle Against Lupus TM

Hi, my name is Bethany.

For those that know me, you know I am a very private person and so is my child so to put myself out here and ask for help is hard. BUT since social security office told me it will take 6months to a yr to even here back if we get approved for any help, idk what else to do. So here it goes:

On March 17th 2024 my 13 yrs old daughter (diagnosed with lupus SLE since January 2021) was admitted to Texas children hospital for a “lupus flair”. She was in intense pain for about a month before this but no one (ER or Dr.) could figure out why. Stomach and back pain. Well approx 1AM on march 18th ebony went into cardiac arrest due to her lupus attacking her brain and spine and shutting down all her autonomic functions. The amazing nurses and stuff were able to revive her but when she woke up Ebony was paralyzed from the neck down. She has been this way since and is unable to perform any functions, including turning her head on her own. While I am blessed with amazing support systems to help care and watch my other 2 girls so I can be here to take care of Ebonys needs AND my job has been so amazing and helpful, they unfortunately cannot help me forever, I’m not able to go back to work as 100% of my day is tending to Ebony. Any dollar amount contributed will go towards bills to keep my house, light, water, gas, food, needs for Ebonys day to day life and any other necessities for my 3 girls. I know times are hard and I hate to be a burden to anyone. Thank you for your support.
