Bentley Update:
It breaks our hearts to share that we had to say goodbye to our sweet Bentley. She fought with everything she had, but the infection and surgeries were too much to overcome. She filled our lives with so much love and will be missed terribly.

All donations will go directly toward Bentley’s emergency vet care and the costs associated with the life-saving efforts that were made for her.

Thank you for standing by Bentley and our family through this heartbreaking journey. Your support has brought comfort in the midst of our grief, and we will forever be grateful.

Rest peacefully, sweet Bentley. You were so loved.

Help Bentley Heal ❤️

Our sweet girl Bentley just turned 4 on June 11th. She’s a mix of American pit bull terrier and Australian cattle dog—full of energy, love, and a sassy spirit that makes everyone around her smile.

A couple of weeks ago, Bentley was involved in a freak accident in the backyard while visiting Florida. She had an unexpected altercation with two large cats. At first, her injuries seemed minor—just a few scratches and bites—and we thought she was on the mend.

What we couldn’t see was the wounds sealed in an infection from the cats, and the infection quickly turned into sepsis. It began to destroy the healthy skin on her two back legs. What started as a small incident became a life-threatening emergency.

Bentley was rushed to the hospital and has now been there for two long, painful weeks. She’s undergone multiple procedures, including the removal of damaged skin and a graft using cod fish skin—a cutting-edge treatment often used for burn victims. Every day since then, she’s fought bravely. And every day, she’s gotten just a little stronger.

The good news is Bentley is finally ready to come home. She’s not out of the woods yet, but she’s healing—and she’s got that same spark in her eyes that tells me she’s not giving up.

This journey has been incredibly difficult and emotional for all of us. The veterinary bills have added up much faster than we ever expected, which is why I’m reaching out with a humble request for support. Any contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward Bentley’s medical care and hospital stay.

If you can’t donate, please share her story and keep her in your thoughts. Your support—your kindness—means everything to us right now.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart
