Join Benji's Path to Shriners Hospital

Hello, everyone. My name is Benjamin Edge. My friends call me Benji, let's get started.

I was born to my beautiful mom, Mallorie Edge, and my 2 big brothers, Sawyer and Wyatt, on April 1st, 2024. Ever since birth, my feet and my legs have turned purple, they swell, and they hurt. Over the last few months, my condition has gotten worse. I have very little strength in my legs. My feet are turned in, which makes it almost impossible for me to walk. My mom has taken me to my pediatrician several times with no luck in finding out what is going on. I also had a long extended stay at Sands Pediatric Hospital of Gainesville, Florida. During this stay, my doctors put me through several tests. At this point, all tests have come back inconclusive. My doctors have told my mom I will need several more tests and many more hospital stays. As of right now, I have been referred to Shriners Hospital in South Carolina. This will be a long trip for me and my mom as we live in South Florida. My mom's hope for me is that with the help of Shriners, I may one day be able to walk and eventually run and play with my big brothers. Please help my mom help me.
