Hi, I'm Bear. You couldn't tell by the looks of me, but I was rescued almost 5 years ago. I was found on the side of the road somewhere in the mountains of Vacaville. At first, I was terrified of people, cars, and everything loud or obscure! It took me nearly a year to overcome my fear of going outside, but thanks to my loving family and friends, I'm not scared of anything anymore.

I am the guardian of all the kids and also the jungle gym. I love my morning belly rubs, cuddles, and squeezing in between everyone on the bed like the pup I am at heart. My family does the best they can to take care of me. Still, recently I've torn my left Knee a CCL(cranial cruciate ligament rupture) tear, which is the equivalent of an ACL tear in humans. I need a TPLO surgery (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) and I need your help to put it back together. Even if I don't show it on my face, I am in pain most days, and I struggle to get around the house. I want to be able to play with my other doggy friends and chase squirrels again. Please help my family and me get back to normal. We appreciate any help ❤️
