Help Support Baby Gunnar and the Hunt Family

Courtney and Cody Hunt welcomed their sweet baby boy, Gunnar, into the world just five months ago. Since birth, Gunnar has faced unimaginable challenges due to multiple congenital heart defects, including a serious condition called coarctation of the aorta. Despite his tiny size, he’s already undergone several surgeries, with more ahead, as his most recent procedure today was unfortunately unsuccessful. Another major open heart surgery is scheduled in the coming weeks.

While Courtney and Cody have insurance, the reality is that it doesn’t come close to covering everything. They’ve already accumulated MILLIONS in medical bills, and the day-to-day costs are overwhelming—parking, gas, food delivery while staying at the hospital, unpaid time off work, and stays during travel for treatment at Children’s Hospital. These add up quickly when you’re living at the hospital more than you’re home alternating turns with a toddler at home.

Through it all, Gunnar remains a happy, strong, and resilient little fighter. His smiles and snuggles light up every room, and his parents are doing everything in their power to give him the best care and love possible.

This GoFundMe is being set up for my nephew to help lighten the financial burden on the Hunt family so they can focus on what truly matters: getting Gunnar healthy and home.
