Hello Everyone,
Our names are Daven Guzman & Candice Reyes. As of today, this is probably the hardest thing we will have to do... Our family has rarely ever had to ask for financial help, but this time we have no other options.
As many of you already may or may not know, I am carrying our rainbow baby, a true blessing from our Lord, a precious baby Boy. The Lord has blessed us with this little miracle that very soon after he takes his first breath, will have to fight for his next. Recently, we were informed that Baby Guzman has a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) that will require surgery soon after he enters this world.
Although at this point, we do not know the severity of his condition, we would like to give him a fighting chance at life. As much as we love and are proud of our Island of Guam and all that she continues to do to improve, unfortunately, Healthcare is behind. So we will be sent off-island to a medical center in California to welcome our son some time in May or June. We will have to begin making arrangements for Baby Guzman's arrival now as he will need to be monitored at the Medical Center while still in the
womb.
Today we are kindly requesting your Prayers and help with any kind of donation that will help us to give our son a chance at life. We are not certain on the cost of the necessary surgeries, however with it being congenital we are sure it will be costly. All donations will be used for Medical Costs not covered by our insurance, Airfare to get to California and Living arrangements. We may not reach our target goal, but every bit counts. If you are unable to donate, sharing this with friends and family will definitely go a long way and would also be greatly appreciated.
