Help Autistic Baby B gain Advocacy against Domestic Abuse

Hello, baby B and I are carving a beautiful life for ourselves after being forcefully removed from our home and our domestic abuser.

In the last seven months he has begun to speak a few words and is thriving in day care and with Speech Pathology all aided by the state! We are so great ful to be safe and loved by our community of survivors who have given us shelter and protected us in my current custody battle against his abuser.

After nearly 10 yrs of psychological, sexual, and financial abuse I was served a divorce which may have saved our lives. Baby B was 100% non-verbal and registering as showing signs of Autism at 18 months due to neglect from his abuser.

I come to you with this plee to help me keep my baby boy safe. Based on our restraining order baby B sees his abuser with a supervisor for three hours a week. Reports are abismal and he cries and scream when seeing his photo despite my continual attempts to provide educational and developmental information to this person.

Throughout my divorce the courts will decide what is in his best interest in terms of care and custody and we need professionals to help advocate for him! It is time to bring in a Custody and Parenting Time Evaluator who is a PHD Forensic Psychologist to conduct a thorough investigation of who can provide the very best for him. They will provide psycho-therapy testing and interviews to all of his care providers and observe Baby B in many capacities as well testify to the court their professional opinions if he can and will thrive despite his diagnosis given his environment.

I can provide him a life I have built based on integrity, education, professional and personal networking and so much love. His abuser denies his special needs and plan to remove him from specialized training and care that would allow him to have a normal childhood and successful life.

Update: Baby B is officially eligible for advocacy through Oregon Bridges who will now receive his medical records based on his Diagnosis and determine the level of neglect he has been subject to and continues to endure based on his delayed speech and potential hearing impairment. We see a Developmental Pediatrician and have a full Audiology screening in two weeks! We are so relieved to finally have an agency on our side.

Update: with help from our legal team we have found a PHD Psychologist who is available for our case! We need to hire within 30 days, and even then our time line for the final trial to determine custody is at stake. The retainer is 7K to begin 12-16 weeks of investigation and reporting. They uses MM-2 personality assessment testing amongst many other methodologies.
