Join Axton's Fight to Recover and Heal

On Monday a terrible accident led to Axton being airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas to be admitted to the burn unit. Axton has suffered severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns on over 13% of his body, including his face and his left eye. Treatment, at this time, is not yet finalized but there is a chance for reconstructive surgeries and therapies. It will be a long, strenuous journey to restore Axton’s health.

Axton’s personality is contagious, there is not a person in the room he can’t make laugh. He is always lending a helping hand with his siblings and is a friend to everyone. This accident has taken a toll not only on his body but his upbeat personality and mental health. We ask you pray not only for his complete healing physically, but that he can remain strong and persevere mentally as well.

Along with this hospital stay for Axton will come unexpected medical bills and expenses. Not only will hospital bills start piling up, there is the cost of gas for trips to Dallas, hotel stays if needed, and also meals and necessities needed when staying in Dallas. We are asking for our great communities of both Jonesboro and Gatesville to come together to help ease some of the financial burden on the families. Any small amount is greatly appreciated.
