Join Aviana's Quest for a Service Dog

Hi, my name is Aviana. I'm a teenage girl living with several chronic health conditions, including Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Tourette’s Syndrome. Each of these presents its own unique challenges, and together they significantly impact my daily life from joint instability and chronic pain to presyncope episodes and motor/vocal tics.
Despite everything, I’m passionate about finding ways to be more independent and live my life to the fullest, especially since i'm starting highschool this year. One big step toward that goal is raising and training my own service dog. I’ve spent a lot of time researching, planning, and preparing for this by learning about service dog training, care, and how one could assist me with tasks related to my conditions. I truly believe that having a service dog would not only improve my physical safety and mental health but also give me a greater sense of confidence and freedom.
Unfortunately, I come from a low-income family, and while I’m determined and resourceful, the financial side of this journey is a challenge. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.
The funds I raise will go directly toward:
♡ The cost of a dog from a reputable breeder
♡ Initial supplies like a crate, bowls, leash, food, toys, and basic grooming tools
♡ Veterinary care and vaccinations
♡ High-quality food and care essentials for the first few months
♡ Training resources and tools to begin their service dog education
Any "excess" funds will be put towards other things for the puppy or relating to my health, like braces, compression socks, etc.
Every contribution — no matter how small — brings me one step closer to achieving a safer, more independent life. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this with others would also mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for your time, support, and kindness.
With gratitude,
Aviana
