Join Avery's Journey: From Trauma to Triumph

Hello Family and Friends,

Many of you may not know, but my sister, Avery, was a passenger in a tragic motorcycle accident that completely changed her life. It has now been a little over two months, and she continues to face a long and difficult road to recovery.

On the day of the accident, Avery was life-flighted to a trauma center in downtown Houston, where doctors worked tirelessly to minimize the life-altering impact of her injuries. She suffered 14 broken bones and a collapsed lung, with some of the most severe and painful fractures affecting her pelvis, left femur, left hand, and both arms.

Since then, she has endured multiple major surgeries, femur traction—a grueling procedure to stabilize her bone before surgery—and three blood transfusions. She has spent weeks in the hospital, undergone inpatient rehab, and is now relearning everyday skills with limited function in her extremities. At such a young age, she is navigating life with mobility aids, including a wheelchair, walker, and cane. Every day brings pain, but also hope—hope that with the right care, support, and rehabilitation, she can regain her independence and quality of life.

The emotional and financial toll of this accident has been overwhelming. Medical bills continue to pile up, and the journey ahead includes extensive physical therapy, ongoing treatments, and daily expenses that place a heavy burden on her. That’s why we are asking for your help.
