I am Averly Krull. I am 4 years old now and very lucky to be alive. My mom, Sara Armand, was told to terminate me because of all of the complications that I would have, and that I probably would not survive very long after birth. She chose life for me and left it in the hands of God.

My mom hasn't been able to work since I was born because of the special care that I need. I have been a frequent patient at Children's Hospital in New Orleans since I was born. I spent the first 10 months of my life there. On August 5th, I will be having another major surgery to repair my Omphalocele. We have been traveling every week to New Orleans for stomach expansions to prepare me. It has been a very big financial burden on my family.
