Hello Friends! If someone would have told me three years ago we’d be starting a GoFundMe page to seek sponsorship for The Anything Blue Band to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, I would have totally called bullshit.

The band, formed by Jim Brehm and Jon Garee, didn’t even exist three years ago. As a matter of fact, it hasn’t even been two years since it was established, and in its current form, not even a full year.

The organic evolution of the band has created a blues-based feel music that is catching on throughout the blues community in Central Ohio and beyond.

After being asked to compete in The Columbus Blues Alliance Challenge in April at the world-famous Dolphin Lounge (where we brought the house down), it was decided we should compete again in Huntington, WV, for the Huntington Blues Society, where we won the competition.

To say we are extremely proud and grateful to be given the chance to bring our traditional style of blues to Memphis representing the Huntington Blues Society is an understatement.

We are humbly asking for your support, financially or otherwise, to assist in our unlikely journey to Memphis.
