Updated Story: Anri’s Ongoing Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

As many of you know, our beloved Anri Griesel—my brother’s fiancée—was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer earlier this year. The diagnosis came as a shock to all of us, but thanks to early detection and swift medical care, Anri underwent a successful lumpectomy. She is now nearing the completion of her radiation therapy, and we are deeply grateful for the progress she’s made so far.

But as anyone touched by cancer knows, the journey does not end when the surgery is complete or when the last radiation treatment is finished. Anri now faces the next critical stage of her treatment: monthly injections to suppress estrogen production, effectively putting her into early menopause. This therapy is vital in reducing the risk of the cancer returning, but it is also costly and comes with challenging side effects.

In addition, she requires ongoing IV treatments, follow-up care, and daily medications—all of which create a heavy financial burden for her and my brother. Despite the hardships, Anri continues to face each day with remarkable strength, courage, and grace.

We cannot thank you enough for the incredible outpouring of love and generosity we’ve received so far. Each donation, message, and share has been a source of comfort and hope, reminding Anri that she is not alone in this fight. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
