Join Amy's fight to "high kick" breast cancer's ass!

HI friends.

No one ever wants to be writing about someone who is like family going through something so difficult. Countless times, I have donated to other people's stories, just like I am sure you have too. So has Amy. And now, as life twists and turns, we land here. My turn to write the story, Amy to hopefully find some relief and benefit from the hundreds of beautiful souls that can step into her light when she needs it most. Like now.

Amy Stout was diagnosed with breast cancer on Opening Day of baseball this year, April 4th. She has done vast amounts of testing, MRI's, Ultrasounds, doctors, surgeons, etc. Her first two rounds of chemo are behind her and she has 4 more to go. Then, surgery, reconstruction and recovery. Then a re-evaluation of the situation to see if anything else is needed.... more chemo, radiation, meds, etc.

The road is long and yet paved with wonderful doctors and staff, family and friends, and a smile and attitude that somehow continues to light up every room she enters. Even when it's hard.

I know Amy and her family aren't ones to ask for help. They are usually the ones GIVING the help. Now, it's our turn to pitch in to help take the financial pressure off. They have a high out of pocket cost and the extra things to balance right now. Any amount of $ will help them not have to worry about the bills that will be vast.

The ACS reports that one of the things most cancer patients stress about the most in the midst of treatment is the financial burden this puts on ANY household.
