Hi everyone. My name is Amber; I'm the mother of a 4-year-old daughter and a 5-month-old son. Just recently, I’ve had a seizure while I was sleeping and had EMS transport me to Beaufort Vidant Hospital. There, CT scans and an MRI were done to confirm a 9mm malignant mass had formed over the last couple of months on my brain. From there, I was transported to ECU Health for further evaluation.

I had only been back at work for a couple of months after having my newborn when this happened and was informed I’ll be out of work a little longer. I have the best care and team in UNC Chapel Hill, but it is quite a drive for everyone. I’m having family have to take me everywhere being I’m on a driving restriction.

I’m not the type to ask for help but times have gotten tough. Bills don’t stop and my kids' necessities don’t stop and neither does their growth. Any and everything would be appreciated, even if you’re not financially able to help, even a share and prayer would go a long ways! This will help with travel, treatments, bills, and my babies. I contemplated for a while to make this but decided it was worth a try. Thank you for anything as small as a share.
