My name is Amanda Cordes and I’m raising funds for my sister-in-law, Katrina Cordes. After battling and beating breast cancer several years ago, she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in May of last year. She has gone through intense radiation treatment followed by highly aggressive chemotherapy sessions. She spent over 10 days in the hospital during these treatments in an attempt to get her pain under control. It has been a grueling 10 months for her, and after all that she has endured, she was told that treatment was unsuccessful and that she would need a life-altering surgery to become cancer-free.
