Join Amanda in Bringing Vital Aid to Gaza

My name is Amanda Nasser, and I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in emergency medicine from San Diego, California. I’ve been given the opportunity and the responsibility to travel to Gaza as a medical volunteer with GLIA where I will be working in the Emergency Department at Nasser Hospital to treat patients in dire need of urgent care.

What I’ve learned and what the world needs to know is devastating: right now, almost no food, such as baby formula, or essential medications are entering Gaza. Infants are going hungry and many have passed away from starvation and illness. Families have no access to even the most basic healthcare. The humanitarian crisis is beyond what words can express.

I’m raising funds to support this mission and bring as much critical aid as I can carry. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

• Purchasing baby formula (which I will personally repackage to allow for larger quantities to be brought in with my belongings)

• Buying vitamins, over the counter medications and surgical- medical supplies such as a portable ultrasound device

• Supporting logistics and transportation to get these items into Gaza as efficiently and securely as possible

This is not a distant crisis, this is real, and it’s now. I am personally going, and I am asking for your help to bring as much support as possible to the children, families, and patients at Nasser Hospital, where I will be serving alongside the brave medical teams on the ground.
