Join Allen's Battle Against Renal Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
I am reaching out on behalf of Allen Mosley, my brother-in-law. He is the devoted husband of my sister, Ashley, loving father of a blended family of five, and a man who has spent the last two years fighting a relentless battle with Renal Cancer.
In early 2023, Allen was diagnosed with Renal Cancer and in April of that same year he underwent a nephrectomy (removal of a kidney). Since then, he has bravely endured two years of treatment — unfortunately, those treatments have not been effective. He stopped treatment altogether on the advice of his doctors. They told him there is nothing more that they can do.
Today, there is new possibility.
Allen has been accepted into a clinical trial for a promising new drug that may finally offer the breakthrough he and his family have been praying for. The trial will take place out of state, at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. It will require Allen to temporarily relocate due to the frequency and close monitoring necessary for this program. The initial phase is expected to last 6 weeks and he will need to stay there for the most of this phase.
The second phase will be determined by his response to the treatment but will likely still require him to be away from home for part of each week. During this time, he will be unable to work which will put a significant strain on the family’s financial situation.
How You Can Help
This trial program provides access to treatment and, fortunately, does assist with temporary housing. However, it does not cover the costs of travel, meals, or the living expenses needed to support Allen and his family during this critical time. Ashley and the kids will also need extra support at home while he focuses on healing.
We are seeking to raise $10,000 to help cover:
• Travel and living expenses during the trial
• Medical-related expenses not covered by the study
• Household support for his wife and kids while he is away
Every Gift Matters
Allen is 34 years old. He has already given 2 years of his life to this disease. Allen is man of faith, quiet strength, and love for his family. This trial brings the possibility of a second chance — a chance for healing, for hope, and for more time together with Ashley, her 3 sons (Josiah, Elias and Augustus) and Allen’s two sweet, young daughters (Penelope and Olivia). He is desperately looking for a way to be able watch these children grow up. Your generosity, whether large or small, can help ease the financial burden so that Allen can focus fully on fighting for his life and Ashley can focus on their children.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be able to help. And all prayers are always appreciated.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Allen and his family during this journey.
With gratitude and hope,
