My name is Aliza Sayani, and I am a high school junior passionate about making a difference in the world. Alongside my studies, I'm involved in extracurricular activities like basketball, teaching, and community service. I represent Every Child Counts, a young nonprofit started in 2018 to support underprivileged school kids in Kenya. In six years, they have developed partnerships with six schools in rural Kenya, addressing the needs of elementary school children. Every Child Counts has impacted the lives of more than 6000 children in the last six years. They feed 650 school kids every school day, providing them with a mid-morning meal followed by a wholesome lunch. This nonprofit inspires me due to its role in elevating marginalized communities. I believe in the power of education and the opportunity to change lives. Whether on the court, in the classroom, or serving others, I am driven by a commitment to growth, teamwork, and compassion.
