Alish was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage 2, Grade 3, HER2+ in March of this year. This is an aggressive, rapidly-growing form of breast cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has faced a whirlwind of appointments, hospital stays, illnesses, and all-day chemo treatments. Alish is facing 5 months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, a 6-week course of radiation, and another 5 months of immunotherapy. She was recently hospitalized for a staph infection for 8 days, which was an unexpected disruption. Alish has been unable to continue working in real estate at this time and is facing an onslaught of medical bills on top of the expenses of her home and family.
