Almost exactly 60 days out from their wedding, Alex unfortunately experienced a traumatic and severe injury rendering him unable to breathe on his own.

Alexander comes from a family of thrill seekers, and is no stranger to two wheels. However, on Friday June 1st, Alex and a buddy were riding their motorcycles home, until in a split-second everything changed. Luckily for Alex, not only was he not traveling alone, but another friend happened to be traveling the same route not far behind them, and witnessed Alex being dragged on his side down the road, under his motorcycle. By the grace of god, a nurse also quickly rushed to the scene before emergency professionals could arrive.

In a whirlwind of two hospitals, life flight, intubation, and chest tubes, he is now finally stable, and working towards healing.

His list of injuries begins with:

- Several broken ribs

- Double lung collapse

- 15 cranial fractures

- Broken Jaw

- Nerve Damage

- Concussion

& is currently breathing assisted by the tubes in his lungs.

He is currently on the mend, but has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Not only is Alex an amazing person, but an amazing fiancé to Anastasia. This terrible accident has and will affect them in so many ways. Ways in which most of us will never see, or be able to change or fix. One way that we can help, is to help ease some of the financial anxiety I can only imagine a young couple, who worked so hard to own their own home, and are just starting their lives together must be facing.
