Join EMCP Family in Ajax's Healing Journey

The EMCP family (Erin, Meredith, Claire, and Paige) has experienced an unexpected hardship when their beloved family pet Ajax fell victim to a dog attack.

Their hearts break for the other dog in this situation. Unfortunately we know he experienced some challenges in his life, but the extent is unknown. The physical aggression was intense and he went in with intention to kill, and he didn’t know any different.

It took 5-8 minutes to get the two dogs apart. Ajax has significant wounds on his throat, neck, jaw,gums, chest, and legs. There was so much blood and his body went into shock.

Cloquet Animal Hospital and Blue Pearl in Duluth worked diligently to stabilize him and save his life. His road to recovery is not over.

Fortunately one anonymous donor called in and donated to cover the cost of his second nights at Blue Pearl.

Current vet bills are over $3000. With additional vet bills in the coming weeks at a minimum of $200 for him to go in for laser treatments for healing. This will ensure that Ajax has best possible outcome. There may be a need for 1-2 surgeries down the road for him but at this time its difficult to tell what he may need moving forward.
