Hi, I’m Adrian Gaspar—and I’m building something I wish had existed when I was a kid in foster care.
I entered the system as a teenager and aged out at 18 without permanency. Like so many others, I faced the uncertainty and instability of a system not built to protect me. But I fought hard: I put myself through college, earned a master’s degree in public affairs, and made it my mission to reform the very system that failed so many children.
Today, I’ve come full circle:
Legislative Advocate: Worked alongside state lawmakers to draft and pass child welfare reforms.
Systems Reformer: Helped build statewide oversight mechanisms to keep kids safe.
Court Monitor: Served on the federal court monitoring team investigating and addressing safety issues in Texas’s foster care system.
Now, I’m launching a statewide nonprofit to ensure every child and family has what I didn’t: safety, stability, and a system that sees them as worthy of protection.
What We’ll Do
Advocate for stronger foster care laws at the state and local levels
Train advocates, caseworkers, and families to advocate for a progressive foster care system in Texas
Create public‐education tools that demystify policy and drive meaningful reform
Center the voices of youth and families in every aspect of our work
I’m raising $10,000 to fund our first year of operations—including legal formation, staff hires, program launches, and our inaugural training series.
“Why doesn’t someone fix this?”
I’m that someone. With your help, we can build a nonprofit that changes lives.
Every dollar you give is a vote for children’s dignity, families’ stability, and true accountability in the systems that shape young lives.
Will you join me? Please donate, share, and help launch this movement for change.
With gratitude,
Adrian Gaspar
