Abigayil Russ (Abby) is one of the most compassionate, dedicated clinicians I’ve had the privilege to know—and truly an incredible human being. Recently, Abby was admitted to the hospital due to a newly diagnosed neurological condition. She will remain hospitalized for another week, followed by one- two weeks of inpatient rehabilitation.

As many of you know, in our field we don’t have access to paid time off or sick leave. Abby is expected to be out of work for at least 2–3 weeks and will return part-time afterward while continuing her recovery. To begin inpatient rehab, she must pay approximately $4,500 upfront, in addition to covering her regular expenses through July and part of August. Our overall goal is to raise $10,000 to cover all medical expenses and bills.

Right now, Abby’s focus needs to be entirely on healing—and we want to ease the financial burden so she can do just that. If you're able to contribute, any amount helps—$5, $10, $15, $20, or whatever you can offer. Every bit makes a difference.
