100 Jefferson Avenue Block Association 2026 Membership Drive

100 Jefferson Avenue Block Association (100 JABA) is striving to hit a milestone in 2026. Our goal is to recruit a paid membership of 100 residents, including our local merchants and faith-based organizations. The current annual membership fee per household or individual is $25.00. For businesses and religious groups, the annual membership fee is $50.00. Combined, we are aggressively working to raise over $2,500.00 in membership dues this year.

focused on block safety, cleanliness and quality of life issues.

*Attend special programs, workshops, seminars on issues important to

you, your family, our Bed-Stuy community.

*We can apply for city & government funded programs including

grants, private donations, and receive in-kind community support

with our 501c3 nonprofit certification.

*Celebrate with neighbors during annual events like Flower Bed-Stuy

& Block Cleanup, Meet your Neighbor Social, Block Party Festivities,

Good Neighbor Award and much more.

*Receive member discounts at local merchant shops.

*Stay up-to-date attending the monthly meetings, or the online

100 JABA community news portals, our Facebook and Website pages.

*These benefits and more....

All residents and local area businesses of the block are automatically

considered "General Members" of the block association. "Members in

Good Standing" subscribe to the Bylaws and have fully paid their

membership dues. "Members in Good Standing" can vote on election

of Officers and amendments to the Bylaws.
