Dear Friends & Family,
You may or may not know that my sister, Jennifer, and brother in-law, Tito (Quique), found out they were having twin baby girls back in May. We were all so ecstatic to throw a baby shower for our little twincesses, when we had to rush my sister to the ER before it ended. On November 19, 2019 my sister went into premature labor. At 10:50 a.m. Elia Jane was born and four minutes later her sister Joi Dalia followed. Joi Dalia was supposed be born first, but she found a comfy little spot within my sister's pelvis that required the assistance of four doctors. She sustained several severe injuries and despite the doctors’ best efforts, our beloved Joi Dalia passed away. She was a wonderful wombmate to Elia and has touched the lives of many during her short time here on earth. We are all devastated by this loss, as none of us were expecting this tragedy, nor were we prepared for the high cost of a funeral. As Joi Dalia’s Titi, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses. We want to give Joi Dalia the memorial service she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for your assistance in covering the cost of Joi Dalia’s funeral to relieve this burden from my sister and brother in-law.
The fundraiser link can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/joi-dalia-fernandez?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1
Please consider contributing, if you can, as any amount will truly help. It would also mean a lot if you could share this with others who would be willing to aid us during this time of grief. We appreciate all your support and prayers.
Thank you,
Fernandez Family
