Raising $1 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for every mile run in 2015!
My goal is to raise $2015, and every $ helps!
This year, I challenged myself to run 2,015 miles in 2015 as part of a group virtual race by Run The Edge. For each mile I run, I would like to raise $1 to donate directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization that funds research on blood cancers and provides education and patient support services. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a type of T-cell lymphoma, a rare type of blood cancer. Thankfully, it was diagnosed very early, my health is still good, and my chances of survival are excellent. I have benefited from the tireless efforts of researchers across the country who are trying to find more effective treatments for all blood cancers, and I want to help others be survivors!
