Johnson Redhead

Hello! I am wellness coordinator for the community of Shamattawa, Manitoba. I am starting a fundraiser for a headstone and memorial bench for a beautiful young soul named Johnson Redhead. Johnson was a 6 year old, nonverbal, autistic child, from Shamattawa First Nation. Johnson attended his schools breakfast program, but didn't show up in class after that. His disappearance sparked a large-scale search of the area by community members volunteers and police. Local community members located Johnson at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday Sept 22/2024. His body was found in a marshy area, about three and a half kilometres from the school where he was last seen. I am hoping to alleviate the family of this stress and create a memorial for the children and members of the community to mourn and honour Johnson.
