Johnson House Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On the morning of Wednesday, January 31, the home of Ann Johnson and her son, Graeme Butler, and their two dogs, was destroyed by fire.
Ann was already at school working with her students when she got the dreaded call that there was a fire in the house. Thankfully, Graeme was alerted by the smoke detectors and dogs, called 911 and they all made it out of the house unharmed. Although the firefighters thought they had extinguished the fire, it later reignited, and quickly spread. The firefighters again worked to save the house, but the damage this time was too extensive. The home and its contents were destroyed by the fire, water and smoke. Ann and Graeme lost all of their belongings. Although they have homeowners insurance, it is going to be a long road to recovery and there is plenty that is needed right away. They will need housing, clothes to go to work and school and items for daily life. Any contributions you’re able to make will go to Ann’s bank account for immediate use. Thank you in advance for your generosity during this difficult time.
